Second Dance Bridal

Jennifer Newman, owner of Second Dance Bridal in St. Catharines, came to us because she wanted a website presence that could integrate seamlessly with her active Facebook network.

We built Second Dance a brand new website, wrote all new website copy, set her on a steady ghost blogging schedule, and installed the seconddance.ca website with both Google Analytics and a Facebook Pixel.

We investigated the consignment bridal market, identified the behaviours of her target customers, and kicked off a campaign with 6 posts daily to Twitter, 2 posts daily each to Facebook and Google+, and active content to Instagram.

Results at 6 Weeks

In the course of 6 weeks, Second Dance’s social media following increased by 26% across Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram and improved the reach to 121,028. Her website traffic has been climbing steadily with 84.2% new sessions and the bounce rate has decreased to 45.04%.

We will continue to monitor and tweak the campaign to optimize her marketing for the best results.

Elements Athletics

Kai Fetzer, owner of Elements Athletics in Brooklyn, came to Barker Social looking for a copywriter to spruce up his website copy. He soon discovered that Barker Social could help the MMA studio to streamline their content and messaging across their website and social media profiles to attract a new audience build their one-year old business.

We wrote website and marketing copy for Elements, implemented Google Analytics and a Facebook Pixel on their website, and created a Foundation campaign to grow their visibility.

We researched the Mixed Martial Arts market in and around Brooklyn and New York City to form a strategy to boost the new gym’s reach. We started with 2 daily posts to Twitter and one to Facebook and increased the content as applicable, also sharing custom visuals on Instagram to leverage their strong photography.

Execution & Results at 6 Weeks

Elements boosted their advertising budget to $300/month. We A/B tested a series of custom advertisements and then rolled the bulk of their budget into the visuals that were the best received.

The results were excellent, with a reach of 62,063 resulting in 2,303 website clicks. In just 6 weeks their following went up by 35% and their website sessions increased by a whopping 70.37%, exceeding even our own expectations in such a short period.
